               สวัสดีครับน้องหะยี,แหลม

                        น้องหะยีลงรูปภาพและบรรยายเรื่องไปเที่ยวที่ต่างๆได้น่าสนุกเหมือนได้เดินตามไปเที่ยวด้วย

 ผมชอบแวะเข้ามาเยี่ยมในห้องนี้อย่างเงียบๆ ชอบดูพวกน้องๆคุยกัน และบางครั้งมีพักครึ่งเวลามีรูปภาพสาวๆ

 สวยๆนุ่งน้อยห่มน้อยมาแปะให้ชมกันแก้ง่วง  น่าสนุกดีครับ!!

พบว่ามีกลิ่นอายของอาหรับไม่น้อยเลยค่ะ
เสียงเพลง มีการเอื้อนลูกคอ คล้ายการสวดของอิสลาม มากทีเดียว

A Little Girl Called 'Natalie'    



I first met Natalie in 1994.

Actually, I knew her before she was born. Her mother and I were friends when we were living in Myanmar during 1994-1996.

Being the two pregnant ladies made us so close. During the day time when our husbands were out to work, we both visited each other to do the girls’ stuffs and conversed about the preparation for our first babies.
 
When the time came, I flew back to Bangkok for the labour. Could not clearly recall about her. I’ve got a boy and she’s got a girl. That little girl was called Natalie. We met again in Myanmar, a few months after. But the two newly moms did not meet as often as before when the babies occupied most of the time.

I received a call from her one day, saying that Natalie refused to take milk. I came over to her place and saw a 4-month-old girl crying non-stop and a mom who was totally sad. My friend has been unwell with fever for a few days and her body stopped producing the most important food for her baby. She’s been trying to feed Natalie from a bottle but she refused it. She was so depressed and asked me if I could feed her little girl from my breast.

Without hesitation, I took Natalie into my arms and gave her my breast feeding. The girl stopped crying and did what she has been doing with her mom. Yes, the girl was hungry for human one not from the bottle.
 
It was one of the biggest moments for me seeing the girl who was not my birth baby sleeping in my arms after she was feed enough from my breast. Natalie took my breast milk for couple days until her mom was back to normal.
 
I left Myanmar in the end of 1996 while my friend moved to Tibet. I've never heard of Natalie again .. well .. there was no such thing like facebook or BB or WhatsApp at that time.

Winter of 1999 while I was walking in Manhattan, New York, I accidently bumped into Natalie’s mom. It’s hard to believe, isn’t it? But it did happen. We met in the middle of a street in NY where my husband was assigned to post there, and my friend’s husband was back to the UN Headquarter. We spent time in a coffee shop talking about our old days in Myanmar and we promised to meet again on the next day with our children.

The next day, there came the little Natalie. She was a slim and tall 5-year-old girl. She’s got very big brown eyes, long arms, long legs which I remember very well.  
 
And that was the last time I saw her.

Out of nowhere, I dreamed of her last night. I hope she is doing fine. She was born in August, the same as my son. That makes her a 17-year-old girl now. I’m sure she’s growing up to be a pretty teenager.  Our belief, the baby who took your breast feeding is considered as your own baby. In this case, I have an American girl name Natalie as one of mine.
