:D  :D Dear Nong Nong RCU Cmadongs,

            Thousand thanks for your kind words wishing me  a very happy birthday. Though my birthday anniversary has passed  since Jan 18th (Thailand's Army Day, too), I naturally feel happy following your nice wishes for me. In fact, it's initially my intention to host a lunch for our webmaster, N'Pai, and her staff but she seemed too busy to give me her time; so I decided to host it on Sunday, 23rd knowing that it's almost fall on my birthday. Eventhough a short notice of invitation, there are altogether 19 persons on that day. And since I never tell anybody about my birthday date, I was a bit puzzled that someone somehow had known it and  was surprisingly  treated as a birthdayman with a delicious cake, arranged by our lovely Pooky and her colleagues. Thank you very vey much again for you guys' generosity. May my happiness returns to you all two folds.
             Maybe next year Dr. Pong and I shoud jointly host birthday lunch or dinner together as my birthday is only one day after him.

I again have a question ka...I don't know what is the way of celebrating in Thailand..can we celebrate in advance??in Germany can not..they do not do it absolute(the same as wishing-greeting in advance!!only exact day or after)
My question is...when would you like to set the date??before or after these 3 days??
Anyway,P.Charin ka....I notice your birthday and will never forget!

last 3 years 16-17-18 was in the middle of the week...would be not convenience to make a big party middle of the working day...Friday-Saturday would be fine for many people...to join!oh...I can imagine a big party with :wink:  :wink: of course,karaoke!

พี่ชรินทร์  หาญสืบสาย  ซึ่งเกิดที่อำเภอบ้านตาก  จังหวัดตาก  ได้ตัดสินใจลงสมัครรับเลือกตั้งเป็น " สมาชิกวุฒิสภา " ( เรียกย่อ ๆ ว่า ส.ว. นั่นแหละ ) ที่จังหวัดตาก เรียบร้อยแล้ว  จึงถือโอกาสนี้ประชาสัมพันธ์มายังพี่ๆ  น้องๆ ชาวซีมะโด่งที่มีภูมิลำเนาอยู่ในจังหวัดตาก  กรุณาให้การสนับสนุนท่านพี่ที่น่ารักของพวกเรา  ให้มีโอกาสได้ไปทำประโยชน์อันใหญ่หลวงแก่ชาติบ้านเมือง  ด้วยการไปลงคะแนนเสียงเลือกพี่ชรินทร์เป็น ส.ว. ของจังหวัดตาก ... เด้อ ค่ะ เด้อ !

เกร็ดความรู้เกียวกับ " สมาชิกวุฒิสภา " ... ตามประสาของ " ราษฎรเต็มขั้น " ที่ชื่อตาสี  ตาสา  ยายมี  ยายนันทิกา ... แฮ่ !   :)

" สมาชิกวุฒิสภา "  มีหน้าที่ในทางนิติบัญญัติ ( ไม่ใช่บริหารประเทศ  ซึ่งเป็นหน้าที่ของคณะรัฐบาล ) เช่น  กลั่นกรองร่างกฏหมายที่บรรดา ส.ส. เสนอขึ้นมา  ก่อนประกาศใช้เป็นกฎหมาย ... ส.ว. จำนวน 150 คน  จะทำงานร่วมกับ ส.ส. จำนวน 480 คน ( ซึ่งวันนี้-  อังคารที่ 29 มกราคม 2551  กกต. ได้ประกาศรับรอง ส.ส. ครบแล้ว พอดี )

ส.ว. จำนวน 150 คนนี้  จะได้มาจากการแต่งตั้ง ( จากผู้มีความรู้ความสามารถ-เชี่ยวชาญในสาขาต่างๆ  ทั้งจากภาคราชการ  รัฐวิสาหกิจ  ภาคเอกชน ฯลฯ ) จำนวน 74 คน  ขณะนี้มีผู้สมัครในโควต้านี้เป็นจำนวนมากมายกว่า 1,000 คนแล้ว ( เรียกว่าอัตราการแข่งขันก็  1 : 20 ล่ะค่ะ ) ...  ส่วน ส.ว. อีก 76 คน  จะได้มาจากการเลือกตั้งของประชาชนในแต่ละจังหวัด  ซึ่งให้เลือกมาจังหวัดละ 1 คน

ส.ว. จะอยู่ในตำแหน่ง  วาระละ 6 ปี ( อ้าว ! อายุยืนกว่ารัฐบาล 2 ปี แฮะ ! )  ในปีนี้มีผู้สมัคร ส.ว. ที่เป็นตัวแทนของจังหวัดต่างๆ ค่อนข้างน้อย  อาจจะเพราะมีกฎเกณฑ์สูง  เช่น  ต้องจบปริญญาตรีเป็นอย่างต่ำ  ต้องไม่มีญาติสนิทเป็นนักการเมือง   ผู้สมัครต้องไม่เป็นข้าราชการอยู่   ถ้าเคยเป็น  ก็ต้องออกจากราชการอย่างน้อย 5 ปีแล้ว  ต้องไม่เป็นสมาชิกพรรคการเมืองใดๆ  ต้องไม่เป็นอดีตนักการเมือง  ฯลฯ  บรรดาผู้ที่คร่ำหวอดอยู่ในวงการเมืองระดับจังหวัด  เลยอดสมัครไปตามๆ กัน
