we visit our friend near Heilbronn again today...it is a sunny good weather...a lot of people there as his relatives(mother,niece,friend of it,sisters)visit too...what I risk of a wild dog and wild plant to take a photo...especially for you!!!
it is a kiwi on the plant...
I step careless into dirt....yeeeee....it is surely a shit of something...uhhh horse or chicken or sheep...horror!

Our friend could plant it and it fruit also...that is  successful...kiwi is a fruit of New Zealand..it needs special climate...special soil conditions...the tree is not a tree but hanging plant...

I am wrong that kiwi there is smaller than what imported from NZ...it is as big as the original...in next 2 weeks it will be gathered..we :twisted: will be there again!

Wow ! ... wonderful photos ...   ... NN, you got in trouble to take these photos of kiwi for me. Thank you so much. It's my first time to see kiwi plant, a climber. They have large leaves and are fruitful in bunches, not single fruit.

Oo 16, an Air Purser of Thai Airways gave me 2 kinds of kiwi from New Zealand, green and golden. They have different tastes, the golden ones were sweet but the green ones were sour.

oh,yeah I heard about golden kiwi for short!it was first an advertising in TV.then bit after bit was offered in supermarket.It is double price!smaller than the green one too.I still not have tried it yet.
Apropos kiwi green:this winter is kiwigreen colour..."in"!! imagine the coat and overcoat in winter,which always dark/black colour...will be pepped with kiwigreen bag,kiwigreen pulli,kiwigreen scarf,kiwigreen shoes....werrrrrr

Your pictures of Kiwi fruits look very "obnoxious" = ตลก น่าเกลียด และ น่าขยะแขยง jing jing naa.

I may spell the word "Obnoxious" wrong but the meaning is about what it says in the Thai version.

However, when I study in New Zealand high school, there were lots of kiwi fruit trees right behind my bedroom. So, I could observe their development / growing all the year through.

I love to see and eat them, though !!!!!!

I will gather it next 1,5 weeks  :twisted: ....kiwi is a permanent fruit for my kitchen...high percentage of vitamin c and really really cheap...one piece cost 24 Cent Euro!!!I take every shopping 10-12 pieces...my family is lazy to slice the peel..it needs a zick zack knife otherwise you will peel all meat gone.

The way the New Zealanders eat the kiwi fruits is that they cut it half and use spoon to serve. They do not peal the skin naa.

no,no...I think it has been early garthered..then it is not quite riped...we let it stand near the windowshelf...few days ...and you can eat like that spooning...but I personally don't like the ripe sort...it is like I don't like riped mango!
